How fortunate we were to have Robert as coach.
As High Performance Manager for the Irish Show Jumping team, Robert led the Irish team to Aga Khan victory in 2012 (first time in eight years).
While he was manager, Ireland finished 3rd in the world’s premier show jumping league.
He selected Cian O’Connor & Blue Loyd for the London Olympics 2012. They brought won a bronze medal – our first Olympic showjumping medal.

The South Union Pony Club would like to extend a HUGE congratulations to our Senior Member CILLIAN CREEDON who has been selected for the Irish squad for the European Eventing Championships in Millstreet. This is a huge achievement resulting from hours of training and hard work – Well done Cillian and we wish you all the luck of the Irish.
We would also like to congratulate a former SUPC member Alice Copperthorn who has also been selected for the Irish squad for the Young Riders at the Europeans .
